They coordinate and share what time each has to stand guard at the bus stop, local parks and playground, outdoor events, everywhere and any time the children of the pack are outside of doors.

Packs start out small, and grow to as many as 10-12 families. Rather than the parent/s of each family trying to keep an eye out, every minute of every day, they coordinate Guardian Duties, so that somebody is always standing guard at all times.
There is always a Guardian at the bus stop, morning and afternoon.
There is always somebody to rideshare to and from school.
There are always three or four of them at the parks and playgrounds.
With the help and assistance of the app, we built into honeymoneyproject.org, they are able to coordinate, communicate, and set daily and weekly Guardian Times, so that everyone is sharing the load, everyone can take care of the thousand other things we neglect, because we're already too busy.
Collectively, parents in a close area share the load of safeguarding the children, whenever they are outside of doors, when they are the most vulnerable.
The real question is, "Where shouldn't they be?"
We at The Honey Money Project only just started this program, by completing a very useful online app, training manual, and other resources to help parents in local neighborhoods get started. As this grows, from coast to coast, new parents will be able to search by their zip+4 and find an existing Guardian Pack within a block or two of their home.
Right now, the greater probability is, there isn't a Parent Guardian Pack near you, yet. But that can be changed.
